As you can see alot of you will have these herbs  and spices in your cupboard at home and use when you are cooking. Did you also know that you can use some of these Essential Oils for Cooking also. Mostly the rule is only 1-2 drops as essential oils are very concentrated and also add towards the end of your cooking, as heat can alter the therapeutic quality of the essential oil.

So next time you are making your fantastic tomato pasta sauce, try adding a drop or two of Oregano Essential Oil or Basil Essential Oil. Or for something sweet and refreshing add a drop or two of Peppermint Essential Oil into your melted chocololate for a Peppermint Flavoured Icing. Or add some spice like Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil or Ginger Oil to your biscuit recipe.

Remember to be careful whilst adding Essential Oils to your cooking, as you don’t want to add too much, put the drops onto a spoon beforehand so you don’t accidently drop extra in. Also make sure your essential oils are fresh and in use by date and if in doubt, leave it out. Thanks and Happy Cooking!!
