Directions for use: Cut soap into pieces and place in either a heat proof bowl over a saucepan with water on a low simmer or a double boiler. It can also be melted in a microwave but keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t overheat. It should always be kept below 75°C when melting. Over heating can cause the soap to lose its transparency. Stir continually so that the heat is distributed and the soap melts evenly. Once melted add any fragrance, colour or additional additives such as exfoliants. Mix thoroughly and pour into molds. (Avoid metal molds, they can stick or discolour the soap). Allow to set. We recommend leaving it for 24 hours before packaging or stamping to ensure the product is fully set. Wrap in clear film straight from the mold to ensure attractive appearance is maintained and to prevent the product from attracting moisture due to its high glycerin content. Store in dry, ambient conditions.
