Euxyl PE 9010 is a strong broad spectrum preservative

pH value of end product: < 12
Recommended use level is 0.5 – 1.0%
Ingredients: Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin
A strong, broad spectrum liquid preservative, effective against bacteria, mould, yeast and mould fungi. This mild, paraben and formaldehyde free product is pH and temperature stable, and great in both leave-on products such as lotions, creams, gels or serums, and rinse-off products, such as body washes, liquid soaps, bath and shower gels or shampoo, conditioner and other hair care products. It is made up of 90% active ingredient Phenoxyethanol with the added bonus of 10% Ethylhexylglycerin, which alters the cell membrane of microorganisms to boost the Phenoxyethanol activity. It can be used in clear formulations without altering clarity. It is also Halal certified so suitable for those wishing to make Halal personal care products.
Note: Though considered mild in products, it is still a strong preservative and should be handled with care to avoid skin and eye irritation. Do not exceed max recommended use level of 1.0%.
