A clear, reddish, brown viscous oil having a mild characteristic odour.
It is an antioxidant used in a number of skin and body care products. It is an excellent moisturiser. Due to its protective properties against Free Radicals, it is believed to be very beneficial in anti-aging and skin conditioning products. It can also assist in extending the shelf life of other carrier oils by helping to prevent rancidity.
