The sun is out, the trainers are on, and charity fun runs are kicking off all around the country. So we’re sure you could all think of someone who would benefit from a little bit of freshening up in the foot department.
This quick and easy deodorising powder can help neutralise foot odour, contains essential oils with disinfecting, antifungal and antibacterial properties, and will leave feet feeling cool and fresh.
Mix together:
60g Arrowroot powder (found in the baking section of the supermarket)
60g Sodium Bicarbonate
10 drops Lavender oil
10 drops Sage Oil
15 drops Peppermint Oil
(Lavender can be switched for Rosemary or Eucalyptus if preferred)
It can then be dusted on the feet or sprinkled in the shoes.
If all this seems a little messy for your liking, add 60g of Activated Charcoal to the mix, cut out square pieces of cloth or material and place each one into a dish. Portion the mixture evenly and put it into the centre of each square. Gather up the corners of each one and tie it up with a bow. Then place the little pouches you have made into the shoes.
