Hemp Seed Oil (Cannabis sativa)

Hemp seed oil is cold pressed from the seeds of Cannabis sativa and is a light green, fast absorbing carrier oil widely used in skincare formulating, soap making and massage blends. It is pressed from the seed only, so it is not the same thing as CBD oil and contains no meaningful cannabidiol or THC. Range Products supplies it 100% natural and unrefined, with no GMOs or artificial additives, in sizes from 100ml up to 5L. Our hemp seed oil is pressed in Europe. • Skincare formulating: Use in the oil phase of facial oils, serums, creams and balms. It is light and absorbs quickly, so it is often chosen where a heavier oil would feel greasy.
• Soap making: A well used addition to cold process soap recipes, generally at a modest percentage of the oil blend.
• Massage blends: Use on its own or blended with another carrier, then add essential oils at your preferred dilution.
• Hair and scalp: Used in conditioning blends and hair oils where a lighter oil is wanted.
• Storage: Hemp seed oil is high in polyunsaturated fatty acids and oxidises faster than many carriers, so keep it cool and dark and use it within a reasonable time.
