Is baking soda the same as bicarb soda?

Yes. Baking soda, bicarb soda and bicarbonate of soda are all names for the same thing, sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO₃). Australia tends to use bicarb soda or bicarbonate of soda, while baking soda is the common American name. This product covers all of those names.

Is baking soda the same as baking powder?
