The good news is that there is a quick and easy cure that takes 5 minutes to make, doesn’t cost a fortune and is made of natural ingredients.
All you have to do is mix together:
1/2 Cup Bicarb Soda
10 drops Bergamot Oil – Deodorising and insecticidal properties.
5 Drops Eucalyptus Oil – Deodorising, anti-viral and kills and prevents fleas, lice and parasites.
5 Drops Pine Oil – Antimicrobial and bactericidal, and also insecticidal and parasiticidal.
Thoroughly mix it all together and sprinkle all over the carpet. Leave it for 1 to 2 hours and then vacuum it up. Job Done!
Essential oils can be natures powerhouses when it comes to cleaning. They boast a whole host of germ busting properties. So here is a really quick and easy recipe for an all purpose surface spray that will leave your home sparkly clean and smelling great! First you will need a clean, empty 500ml bottle with a spray top.
Then, in a glass jug mix together:
400ml Distilled Water
100ml White Vinegar
10 drops Oregano Oil (Antiseptic, antiviral, bactericidal, fungicidal)
15 drops Lemongrass Oil (Antimicrobial, antiseptic, bactericidal, fungicidal)
15 drops Sweet Orange Oil (Antiseptic, bactericidal, fungicidal)
10 drops Lime West Indian Oil (Antiseptic, antiviral, bactericidal)
Pour it all into the bottle, give it a good shake and you are ready to go. Happy Cleaning!

1ml Basil Oil – to help ease muscular aches and mental fatigue.
Replace the cap, give it a thorough shake and it’s ready to go, leaving you either well on your way to an energised day or boosted and rejuvenated for the evening ahead.
