Feeling a bit tired from your hectic lifestyle?? Feeling rundown, tired, stressed?? Had a full nights sleep and wake up wanting to go back to bed?? Sounds like you need a Pick me UP!! and I’m not talking about coffee… In fact drinking too much coffee can make you feel worse and also dehydrate you.
Some essential oils can be great to help you boost your energy levels and give you that little lift that can help you feel better!
The citrus essential oils of Orange, Lemon, Grapefruit, Pettitgrain, Neroli and Bergamot are a good start for boosting your energy, so are Peppermint and Spearmint. Put a couple of drops into a tissue and inhale, or put a few drops onto the carpet of your car and enjoy on your way to work.
Try this Energy Boosting Inhalent Blend:
Blend together in a small container with 50 ml of grapeseed, olive or almond oil. Put into a small diffuser or put a couple of drops onto a tissue or inhale directly from the bottle.
Making sure that you are eating the right foods with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, wholegrains and protein, drinking lots of water, exercising appropriately and getting plenty of uninterrupted
sleep will get you on the right track to feeling better. And one of the most important things to remember is to do something just for fun, once in a while!!
One of our customers says, “getting rid of Ants is easy with a Blend of Lavender Essential Oil and Lemon Essential Oils, just follow the trail and spray on.”
Blend in a 250ml spray bottle, 10ml of Lavender Essential Oil and 10ml of Lemon Essential oil, add 5 drops of Polysorbate 80 (solubiliser), fill the rest of the bottle with water and shake to mix.
Have a go and let me know if you have any success or if you have any other Ant Rid remedies!!
Essential Oils come from lots of different plant sources including from herbs and spices. Below is our list of Herb & Spice Essential Oils:
As you can see alot of you will have these herbs and spices in your cupboard at home and use when you are cooking. Did you also know that you can use some of these Essential Oils for Cooking also. Mostly the rule is only 1-2 drops as essential oils are very concentrated and also add towards the end of your cooking, as heat can alter the therapeutic quality of the essential oil.
So next time you are making your fantastic tomato pasta sauce, try adding a drop or two of Oregano Essential Oil or Basil Essential Oil. Or for something sweet and refreshing add a drop or two of Peppermint Essential Oil into your melted chocololate for a Peppermint Flavoured Icing. Or add some spice like Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil or Ginger Oil to your biscuit recipe.
Remember to be careful whilst adding Essential Oils to your cooking, as you don’t want to add too much, put the drops onto a spoon beforehand so you don’t accidently drop extra in. Also make sure your essential oils are fresh and in use by date and if in doubt, leave it out. Thanks and Happy Cooking!!
